FInal Tribute

Well the run has been good, the crowds amazing, and the work has been so satisfying. I want to thank all of the people who have made this possible, and especially Migiwa Orimo, for providing the space and the vision that allows the artist to fully realize their dream. Thank you everyone and thank you, thank you to the booth, a vessel and a home for the work of many. The life of the Theatre is certainly fraught with many thrills and chills, to quote that iconoclastic thespian, Lou Reed. I hope my gifts have been received in as I have intended them to be and god bless you all and god bless america.

  1. So where's the video? I've been wondering what you were doing. I'd drive by that corner and the telephone booth was different every time. Like an last season of LOST, I want answers now!

  2. Hi Anonymous,

Currently, the telephone booth is hosting the Spoon River Saga, an audio project by Rani Crowe. Go in and pick up the handset, choose a track you want to hear and listen. Refer to the directory inside the booth (the Red Book) to see if you know any of readers!

Tim Noble, a media artist, will follow the Spoon River starting on March 15th. His project will also be an interactive piece. We'll be posting pics of him preparing this project!

Thank you for your interest in the Telephone Booth project.
When the weather gets warmer, we'll have performance/dance pieces at the booth.
